When She Goes

When she goes

I hope it feels like i’m carrying her to bed to sleep for the night.

When she goes

I hope she is greeted by everyone who has gone before her with tender love and care.

When she goes

I hope she’ll have new toys, treats, and a kiddie pool waiting just for her.

When she goes

I hope she can breathe without effort and all of her pain washes away.

When she goes

I hope she can still feel how much I love her across galaxies, astral planes or whatever separates us as if she was in the next room.

When she goes

I hope she’ll wait and watch over me until we can be together again.
